About the Role

As a Sales Associate at Jiri Natural, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and revenue growth for our business. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with retail stores and supermarkets, identifying new business opportunities, and promoting our products and services to potential customers. Your goal will be to drive customer acquisition, increase market share, and contribute to the overall success of the company. This is a dynamic and fast-paced role that requires a proactive and results-oriented approach.

The person in this role will report to the Chief Marketing Officer.

Responsibilities:

Identify and develop new sales opportunities at retail stores and wholesalers.

Conduct market research to identify potential target customers and market trends.

Build and maintain relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and providing excellent customer service.

Present and demonstrate our products and services to potential customers, highlighting their value and benefits.

Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotes, and contracts to potential clients.

Negotiate and close sales deals, meeting or exceeding sales targets and revenue goals.

Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales collateral, promotional materials, and campaigns.

Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to identify new business opportunities.

Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and generate leads.

Provide regular sales reports and updates to the sales manager, tracking sales performance and forecasting future sales.

Requirements

  1. Previous experience in sales, distribution and marketing, preferably in the food industry.

  2. Strong knowledge and passion for the food tech industry and emerging trends.

  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.

  4. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.

  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced startup environment.

  6. Strong negotiation and persuasive skills, with the ability to close deals.


  7. Highly organized with excellent time management skills.

  8. Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required.
