About the Role
As a Marketing Intern at our food technology startup, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our marketing team and gain valuable hands-on experience in the dynamic world of food tech. You will support various marketing initiatives, contribute to campaigns, and assist in developing strategies to promote our products and enhance brand awareness. This internship will provide you with exposure to the exciting challenges and opportunities of marketing in the food technology industry.
The person in this role will report to the Chief Marketing Officer.
Responsibilities:
Content Creation: Assist in creating engaging and compelling content for various marketing channels, including social media posts, blog articles, website content, and email campaigns. Ensure content aligns with brand guidelines and appeals to target audiences.
Social Media Management: Help manage and grow our social media presence across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop social media strategies, create content calendars, schedule posts, and engage with followers.
Market Research: Conduct market research to identify target customer segments, industry trends, and competitor analysis. Gather data and insights to support marketing strategies and product positioning.
Campaign Support: Provide assistance in executing marketing campaigns, including email marketing, influencer collaborations, promotions, and events. Help with campaign setup, tracking metrics, and reporting on campaign performance.
Analytics and Reporting: Assist in monitoring and analyzing marketing performance metrics, such as website traffic, social media engagement, and email open rates. Prepare regular reports to assess the effectiveness of marketing activities and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Branding and Design: Collaborate with the design team to contribute ideas and assist in creating visually appealing marketing materials, including graphics, infographics, presentations, and videos.
Partnership Outreach: Support the marketing team in identifying potential partnerships and collaborations with relevant influencers, bloggers, and industry organizations. Assist in outreach efforts, communication, and tracking partnership opportunities.
Customer Support: Provide support in addressing customer inquiries and feedback received through various channels, including email, social media, and customer review platforms. Assist in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining a positive brand image.
Requirements
Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Communication, or a related field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
Familiarity with social media platforms and an understanding of their best practices.
Basic knowledge of content creation and marketing principles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite.
Ability to conduct research, analyze data, and present findings.
Creativity and a keen eye for design and aesthetics.
Self-motivated, reliable, and able to meet deadlines.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Passion for the food technology industry and an interest in sustainable food solutions.
